Meet the Designer
I am a self taught artist and my designs are hand drawn freehand. I also make miniatures for doll houses, create greeting cards, sew, create paper scrapbooking products and I'm also a digital scrapbooking designer.
And this is how it all started. I grew up on a farm and my mother taught me how to sew. From there I taught myself to how to crochet and cross-stitch. Fast forward in life, I learned to use Photoshop to design in digital format and eventually I taught myself to draw and paint. I don't proclaim that I am the best, but I at least try to get better with each new painting that I create.
My designer name "Vintage Nest Designs" has been around since 2012. I came up with the name for three reasons. One, I have always liked vintage item's. Old, grungy, dirty I don't care. I love it! Two, I have always liked bird nests & eggs. Growing up on a farm we had lots of them in the barns. My favorite nest to find were the Robins nest with the blue eggs. I loved holding and looking at them. And lastly, three because I design many things. Hence, Vintage Nest Designs.
Therefore, I have now established and built this website known as Vintage Nest Designs. I actually started designing and selling online way back in 2006. I created a digital scrapbooking website called Digital Scrapn Designs and ran the website for a couple years until the economy took a bit of a dive.
From there, I fell in love with making dollhouse miniatures. I have now incorporated all of my how-to knowledge into creating this website to showcase and sell what I create.
I have sold thousands of designs over the years and I can say most of them have been on Esty with hundreds of positive reviews. Now I think it's time I venture out into the open again and sell from my space. Which is here. Visit often because you never know what I am making.
So what can my designs be used for? Dollhouse Miniatures, Digital Instant Downloads, Printable Wall Art, Digital Prints, Greeting Cards, magnets, key chains Scrapbooking, Decoupage and more just to name a few.
